Ordering and billing
How do I pay?
You top up a balance in the dashboard by card, PayPal or cryptocurrency, then place orders from that balance. The minimum top-up is $10. There is no subscription to cancel, and nothing is charged between orders unless you turn on automatic top-up or automatic renewal yourself.
Is there a minimum order?
No. The smallest order is one gigabyte of residential traffic or a single ISP or Datacenter IP. The only floor is the $10 minimum top-up, and whatever you do not spend stays on your balance.
Do I need a contract or a sales call?
No. Everything is self-serve: sign up, top up, and you are sending requests a few minutes later. There is no sales team to get past and no quote to wait for.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, for money you have not spent. Unused paid balance is refundable while your account is in good standing, and so is an order we failed to deliver, if you tell us within 14 days. Refunds arrive as balance credit by default; ask, and card or PayPal payments go back where they came from. Cryptocurrency payments come back as balance credit only. Traffic you have used and IP terms that have run are not refundable. The refund policy has the detail.
Do your prices include tax?
Published prices exclude tax. Where we are required to charge VAT, GST or sales tax, it is added at checkout. If your business accounts for tax under a reverse charge, give us your tax identification number.

Pricing promises
Is the price I configure the price I pay?
Yes. The configured price is the checkout price, and the invoice says the same. Nothing is added at the payment step apart from tax we are required to collect.
How does the rate lock work?
Rates hold for 12 months after purchase, and move down if list price drops. For 12 months from each order, further orders of the same product are charged from the price list that applied on the day you bought, or from the current list if that is lower.
Does unused traffic expire?
No. Traffic never expires. Residential traffic you have bought stays on your account until you use it. There is no monthly reset and no expiry date, and the same goes for your balance.
How do volume discounts work?
They are automatic and depend on volume alone, with no commitment and no annual prepay. Cross a tier and the lower unit price applies to the whole order. Residential, for example, is $5.50/GB, falling to $1.75/GB at 1,000 gigabytes.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. A new account gets 1 GB of residential traffic free, with no card. Point it at the targets you care about before you spend anything.

Products
What do you sell?
Residential rotates across consumer connections and is billed per gigabyte. ISP gives you static addresses registered to consumer carriers, billed per IP for a term you choose. Datacenter is billed per IP in the same way. The Scraper API and Unblocker API are coming soon and not on sale yet.
Can I buy a single ISP proxy?
Yes. ISP and Datacenter are both sold from one IP, for a term you pick at checkout, and longer terms cost less per month. Addresses appear in your dashboard once the order is paid.
Can I choose the country on residential proxies?
Not today. Residential rotates across the whole pool without country, state, city or ASN selection. If you need a particular place, ISP can be targeted by country, region, city and carrier, and Datacenter by country, region and city.
What is the difference between ISP and residential proxies?
ISP addresses are registered to a consumer carrier but hosted on server hardware, so they look residential to a target, run at datacenter speed, and stay the same address for as long as you hold them. Residential addresses come from consumer devices and rotate, which suits wide crawling and breaks long sessions.

Allowed use
What can I use ProxyHive for?
Public web data collection, search engine result pages, ad verification and brand protection, your own accounts and infrastructure, market and academic research and authorised security testing. The allowed-use policy lists each one with the conditions that come with it.
What is not allowed?
Among other things: credential stuffing and account takeover, fraud of any kind, denial of service, spam and unsolicited messaging and material involving minors. The policy has the full list, and conduct that does the same kind of harm counts even where it is not named.
Why publish the rules before I buy?
The allowed-use policy is public and plain, so you know whether your use case fits before you pay. If it does not, you find out on a free page, before a top-up.
What happens if I break the policy?
Unless the law obliges us to act at once, you get an email first, describing what we saw and what needs to change. Where we do have to restrict something, we restrict the specific target or sub-user and leave the rest of the account running. If an account is terminated, its unused paid balance is refunded less the traffic spent on the breach, and you can appeal to a person.
Can the policy change after I buy?
A rule that gets stricter comes with 30 days' written notice before it applies to existing customers. A rule that gets looser takes effect straight away.

Account and support
How do I reach support?
Email [email protected] or use the contact form. Support runs 24/7, humans on rotation, so a person reads what you send.
How do I get an API key?
Sign up, open the dashboard and create one. It takes about a minute, and the free trial traffic is there to test it with.
Can my team share one account?
On residential you can create sub-users, each with its own credentials and its own share of your traffic, so one job cannot eat another's allowance.
How do I close my account?
Write to [email protected] from the address on the account. Unused paid balance is refunded under the refund policy.
Do you sign a data processing addendum?
You do not need to. The DPA is part of the terms of service, so it applies when you accept them. If your procurement process needs a countersigned copy, write to [email protected].
