If traffic from one of our IP addresses reached your systems in a way it should not have, this is what to send and where to send it.

What to send

  1. The IP address

    Exactly as it appears in your logs.

  2. The time, in UTC

    To the minute if you have it, or the first and last request you saw.

  3. The target hostname

    The host on your side that received the traffic.

  4. What you saw

    Log lines, request headers, or a short description of what happened.

What happens

A person reads it and replies from the same address.

What happens to the customer who sent the traffic is set out in the enforcement section of the allowed-use policy.
