Ad verification
Proxies for ad verification
Ad delivery is decided by where the viewer appears to be. Check a campaign from a static IP in its target area, on a consumer carrier, and you see the placement a local viewer sees.
Where it breaks
What goes wrong first
Ad networks target by location and by network type. A check from the wrong country joins a different auction, and a check from a hosting range may be served no ad at all.
- Geo-targeted campaigns that serve only inside the target area
- Landing pages that redirect by visitor location
- Placements that differ between consumer and hosting networks
- Counterfeit listings that surface only in certain markets
How the hive handles it
Built for ad verification
The carrier on the label
ISP IPs sit on consumer carriers, and the order form names the carrier before you pay. Verify on the kind of network your audience uses.
The target area, chosen at checkout
Choose country, region, city and carrier when you order, so a regional campaign is checked from inside its region.
Hold the address for the whole flight
Terms run from 30 to 365 days, so one IP can watch a campaign from launch to wrap and every screenshot shares an origin.
Counterfeit sweeps on the same IPs
Finding fake listings of your own brand is on the allowed list too, so the IPs that check placements can sweep marketplaces for knock-offs between campaign runs.

ISP
Static residential IPs on named carriers. Buy one. Get it now.
A static consumer-carrier IP in the campaign’s target area sees the ad a local viewer sees, and sees it again tomorrow from the same place.

- Location at checkout

Fallback

Datacenter
Your own datacenter IPs, rented by the IP for a fixed term.
For landing pages and redirect chains, where the ad network’s targeting is not in play, a datacenter IP in the same country is enough.

- Location at checkout

Questions
Ad verification, answered
Can I verify ads in one city?
Yes, where stock is available. The ISP order form offers country, region, city and carrier, and the choices follow live stock on the day you order.
Can I look at competitors’ ads?
The named allowed use is checking your own campaigns and finding counterfeits of your own brand. Viewing public placements as research is public web data. Clicking ads you have no intention of engaging with is click fraud, which the policy forbids outright.
Why not residential for ad checks?
Residential rotates and has no location picker, so you cannot say where a check came from. A verification report needs that origin for every placement it flags.
Can I see the carrier before buying?
Yes. The ISP order form lists carriers by name for the location you pick, drawn from live stock.
