Is ProxyHive cheaper than Bright Data?
At 10 GB pay as you go, yes, narrowly while their discount code runs: $3.95/GB against $4/GB with code RESIGB50, and by more against their $8/GB list price. On 10 dedicated ISP IPs a month it is $2.66/IP against $3.50.
Do I need a monthly commitment with Bright Data?
No, they sell residential pay as you go. Their monthly plans are commitments, and their pricing page states that an unused commitment does not roll over. Our balance has no month to run out in.
Can I target a city on ProxyHive residential?
No. Residential location targeting is one of the rows Bright Data wins. When the origin has to be fixed, buy a static IP: ISP is ordered by country, region, city and carrier, and datacenter by country, region and city.
