- How much does a proxy server cost? | Plans start at $2.99/month for 100 shared proxies (as low as $0.0179/proxy at scale), with private and dedicated tiers available depending on how much isolation you need.
- What is the difference between shared, private, and dedicated ISP proxies? | Shared proxies are used by more than two other customers and cost the least. Private proxies are shared with one or two other users, reducing the risk of reputation issues from someone else's activity. Dedicated proxies are fully yours: no other Webshare customer will ever use the same IP.
- Can I use ISP proxies for free? | No, ISP proxies don't have a dedicated free tier. Webshare's free plan (10 proxies, 1 GB of bandwidth per month) applies to Datacenter Proxy Servers only. ISP plans start at $6.00 per month for 20 proxies.

Switching from Webshare
Is ProxyHive cheaper than Webshare?
Mostly not. On residential their monthly plans cost less at every size we priced: $2.75/GB for 10 GB against our $3.95/GB, and $2.25/GB for 100 GB against our $2.65/GB. On dedicated ISP their 20 IP plan is $2.10/IP against our $2.66/IP. We come out ahead below 20 dedicated IPs, and when a month’s traffic would go unused.
When is ProxyHive the better pick over Webshare?
When you need fewer than 20 dedicated ISP IPs: one costs $3.20/IP here, and their smallest dedicated plan is $42.00 a month. Also when your usage is uneven, because our traffic never expires and there is no subscription to renew.
Does unused Webshare traffic roll over?
Their residential plans are monthly allowances on a subscription that renews every month, and their help centre states that monthly bandwidth limits do not roll over. Ours does not expire.
Can I target a city on ProxyHive residential?
No. Webshare offers country, city, state, ZIP and ASN targeting on residential and takes that row. For a fixed location on our side, order a static IP: ISP is ordered by country, region, city and carrier, and datacenter by country, region and city.
