Dolphin Anty (written Dolphin{anty} by its makers) is an antidetect browser: every profile keeps its own fingerprint, cookies and proxy, so accounts you operate never share a session. Dolphin Anty proxy setup with a ProxyHive IP: click Create profile, choose New Proxy in the proxy field, paste socks5://HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD (or http:// with the HTTP port), click the arrows at the right of the line to check it, then Create profile. Start the profile and https://api.ipify.org shows the IP you bought.

What this is for

Use it to run your own accounts: several ad accounts, shops or client accounts, each needing a stable identity. Our allowed-use policy permits several accounts where the platform itself allows them. Social platform automation is allowed for accounts you own and for public data collection; mass account creation and engagement farming are not. Creating accounts to abuse promotions or referral schemes, and bulk unsolicited messaging, are not allowed at all. This is not legal advice; check the policy and the platform's terms. Before you start

  1. Buy one static IP per profile and open the order in the dashboard at https://app.proxyhive.io. ISP proxies are the usual fit: a single IP from $3.20/IP, registered to a consumer carrier you choose by name, with country, region, city and carrier picked at checkout.
  2. Copy HOST, PORT, USERNAME and PASSWORD for each IP. Every IP is its own endpoint with separate HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 ports.
  3. Choose the copy format with care. Dolphin reads HOST:PORT:USER:PASS and USER:PASS@HOST:PORT. It does not read USER:PASS:HOST:PORT, so skip that one.

Dolphin Anty proxy setup for one profile

  1. On Browser Profiles, click Create profile in the top right.
  2. Enter a profile name. Dolphin gives each new profile a unique fingerprint, so there is nothing to generate.
  3. In the proxy field, choose New Proxy.
  4. Paste the line with its type in front, for example:
socks5://HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD
http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT

Use the SOCKS5 port with socks5:// and the HTTP port with http://. Dolphin also reads socks4://, which you do not need here. 5. Click the arrows at the right edge of the line. Dolphin checks the connection and shows the IP's location and time zone. 6. Leave Link to change IP empty. It is for rotating proxies with an IP change URL; a static IP has none. 7. Click Create profile.

To change the proxy on an existing profile, find the Proxy column on Browser Profiles and click the pencil next to it. If the column is missing, add it under Customize columns.

Set WebRTC and time zone to follow the proxy

Open the profile's fingerprint settings and check two values:

  • WebRTC: choose Altered, which reports the proxy's IP. Real ignores the proxy and exposes your own connection's address, which defeats the point. Without UDP is the other safe option: it blocks the unproxied UDP traffic that leaks IPs.
  • Timezone: keep Auto, which takes the zone from the proxy. If you set it manually, it must match the IP's location.

Dolphin reads location from its own geo database. If a checker site shows a different country, the databases disagree; the IP has not moved.

Verify the exit IP

  1. Click Start on the profile.
  2. Visit https://api.ipify.org?format=json in the window that opens.
  3. The ip value should match your order, and differ for every profile.

Several IPs: the Proxy screen and one IP per profile

Save your IPs once on the Proxy screen, then pick them from the list:

  1. Open Proxy and click Add Proxy.
  2. Enter each IP in a format above. Dolphin's FAQ notes you can end a line with :name, so label each IP after its account:

  1. When you create or edit a profile, choose the saved IP instead of New Proxy.

On paid plans, select several profiles, click Change Proxy in the action bar, and assign saved proxies. Dolphin offers a Random option there. For accounts, assign deliberately instead: one static IP per profile, kept for the life of the account. The free plan stores up to 50 proxies per account. Troubleshooting

  • "Error checking connection to proxy" at Start, red arrows in the list, or a red Error status on the Proxy screen: wrong host, a port that does not match the type, or wrong credentials.
  • "ValidationError: 'port' length must be less than or equal to 5 characters long": the line is in an order Dolphin does not read. Use HOST:PORT:USER:PASS.
  • Works on another network. Dolphin's docs note some internet providers block proxy connections; try a different network. If the order uses an IP allowlist, add that network's IP too.
